Bring your Inner-Visions to life!

Join Expressive Arts Therapist Isha Bae for a powerful journey of unlocking your creative intuition and connecting with a community of like-minded souls.

Through a gentle, immersive process of grounding meditations, healing sounds, and energy-channelling, we will shift into Alpha-Theta brain-wave states. In this deeply relaxed and open space, you will access intuitive inner visions inspired by our unique, monthly healing theme.

Using these insights as a creative prompt, Isha will guide you to translate your inner experiences into your own unique work of art.

At the end of the session, the group will be invited to share their creations. Sharing is completely optional, but it creates a truly fascinating collective journey, exploring how different perspectives/frequencies respond to the very same theme.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Expressive Arts Therapy?

Expressive Arts Therapy is a creative and experiential approach to self-discovery, healing, and insight. Rather than focusing on artistic skill or producing a polished artwork, the emphasis is on the creative process itself as a pathway into deeper awareness, intuition, and emotional expression.

This practice may incorporate visual arts, sound, movement, meditation, writing, symbolism, imagination, and other creative modalities to support psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.

Do I need to be “good at art” to participate?

Not at all. No artistic experience is needed.

This space is about expression, curiosity, intuition, and exploration, not artistic ability or performance. There is no right or wrong way to create here.

Many participants are surprised by what emerges when they allow themselves to create freely without judgement.

What happens during the session?

Each session begins with grounding practices, meditation, healing sounds, and gentle nervous system regulation to help shift into relaxed Alpha-Theta brainwave states.

From this receptive space, participants are guided to connect with inner imagery, feelings, memories, symbols, or intuitive impressions inspired by the monthly theme.

You will then be invited to express these experiences creatively using any medium you feel drawn to. At the end of the session there is an opportunity for optional group sharing and reflection.

What kind of art can I create?

You are welcome to work with whatever medium feels most natural or accessible to you.

This may include:

  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Collage
  • Clay or sculpture
  • Photography
  • Writing or poetry
  • Movement
  • Sound
  • Digital art
  • Video or film making

The focus is not on the medium itself, but on allowing your inner experience to take form.

What materials do I need?

You only need simple materials you already have at home.

Even a pen and paper is enough.

You are also welcome to use pencils, paints, crayons, pastels, collage materials, clay, digital art tools, photography, or anything else that supports your creative process.

Who is this for?

This offering is open to anyone seeking:

  • Creative expression
  • Nervous system support
  • Emotional exploration
  • Personal insight
  • Spiritual connection
  • Intuition development
  • Community
  • A deeper relationship with creativity

No prior experience in art, meditation, or healing practices is required.

Is this a therapy session?

This offering is therapeutic in nature and grounded in Expressive Arts Therapy principles. It supports self-reflection, emotional expression, nervous system regulation, creativity, and personal insight.

However, it is not a replacement for medical, psychiatric, or crisis care.

Will my artwork be analysed or interpreted?

No.

The facilitator does not judge, diagnose, analyse, or interpret your artwork. Your creative expression belongs to you.

The role of the facilitator is to create a safe, compassionate environment and gently support participants in exploring their own meanings, associations, and inner experiences.

Do I have to share my artwork with the group?

Sharing is always completely optional.

Many participants find the sharing component moving and insightful, particularly witnessing how different people respond uniquely to the same creative prompt. However, you are always welcome to simply observe or keep your experience private.

What are Alpha-Theta brainwave states?

Alpha and Theta brainwave states are naturally occurring relaxed states often associated with meditation, creativity, intuition, imagination, and deep rest.

Through sound, breath, grounding, and guided awareness practices, the session supports participants in softening mental noise and entering a more receptive and creative state of consciousness

What if I feel nervous or self-conscious?

That is completely normal, especially if you have not created art in a long time.

The space is designed to be warm, gentle, welcoming, and free from pressure or judgement. You are encouraged to participate at your own pace and in whatever way feels comfortable for you.
